1. Super Bowl LVI in Numbers

Think about how huge a role social media plays in the Super Bowl. People are on their phones, filling FB & Twitter with their opinions and observations. Content is multiplied by several fold. You should check out the analysis for yourself.

According to the research, Coinbase is the ad that drove most of the attention on social this year with more than 79,000 mentions during the game.

2. Instagram Turning Stories to Reels

Instagram is upping the game when it comes to Stories. They’re toying with giving brands the choice to turn their Story Highlights into Reels. What a great way to recycle your content!

3. TikTok reveals insights for the retail business

TikTok shared a new report on how retail brands can convert their efforts on the social platform.

“By listening to the TikTok community, we meet users where they want to be met, and it’s not in the funnel. Rather, it is an infinite loop with no start or end point, and it empowers brands to establish more meaningful relationships with consumers that result in communities of brand loyalists, repeat purchases, and greater spending.” – TikTok

4. Meta launches new metaverse for its Quest 2 VR Headsets.

The brand new world of Meta has been met with excitement and criticism. Are you ready to take the virtual plunge? I personally own a Meta Quest 2, and I love the interactivity, the connection, and the fun that I’ve found so far. This video ad from Meta kinda gives me the heebie jeebies, but if you’ve ever been a fan of Five Nights at Freddy’s, you’re going to love it.

5. Twitter gives tips to brands on what to share in their tweets.

Twitter launched a #RealTalk about how brands can optimize their presence on the social network. The research was conducted among 2000 brands to find out what works for them on Twitter.
